Our Ambition

Our mission is to restore and transform this defensive military fort into a welcoming, creative, and cultural space. For this, we are committed to creating a living connection between visitors, especially the younger generation, and the rich and fascinating history of the Marseille Citadelle and to promoting access to Artistic and Cultural Education. Through interactive guided tours and educational workshops, our goal is to arouse curiosity and share a deep understanding of the historical role of this emblematic site.

Encouraging Creativity and Participation

The Citadelle aspires to be a space for creativity and expression. We encourage the participation of young people in artistic activities and stimulating workshops. Our goal is to stimulate imagination, inspire creativity, and promote individual expression within this unique historical framework.

Raising awareness among the younger generation of Heritage Restoration and Enhancement

We believe in the direct involvement of young people in the restoration and valorization process. By collaborating with craftsmen, artists, researchers, and preservation experts, we offer opportunities to participate in concrete projects related to heritage preservation and site rehabilitation.

Promiting Social Inclusion

La Citadelle de Marseille, alongside ACTA VISTA, is committed to combating inequalities in access to culture and heritage. By offering free slots and partnerships with organizations, we provide inclusive educational opportunities, allowing everyone to benefit from this enriching experience.

Promoting Sustainable Practices

At every stage of our approach, we are committed to promoting sustainability. Whether through environmentally focused educational practices, heritage preservation initiatives, or partnerships with committed organizations, we aim to create a space that respects history, culture, and the environment.

Join an experience that goes beyond the traditional tour, actively immersing yourself in the history, creativity, and culture at the heart of the Citadelle de Marseille.
