The following are not permitted:

- motorised vehicles
- non-motorised vehicles (bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, etc.) except motorised wheelchairs for people with reduced mobility
- noise that is annoying because of its intensity, duration, frequency or aggressive nature and the broadcasting of amplified music

Accessibility
The topography of the Citadelle of Marseille, on a rocky spur overlooking the Old Port, and its restoration in accordance with the rules governing its classification as a Historic Monument, unfortunately make the site very difficult to access for wheelchairs and pushchairs (very steep slopes and slippery ground surface).
