Groupe SOS, founded in 1984 during the "AIDS years," is an association group and a major player in social cohesion in France and worldwide.

The SOS Group primarily operates in the fields of solidarity, youth, health, and senior care, managing facilities for marginalized individuals as well as nurseries, hospitals, and nonprofit nursing homes open to all. As a key player in the social and solidarity economy (SSE), Groupe SOS is convinced that these sectors should not be driven by profit.

Recognizing that exclusion takes many forms, the Groupe SOS also works in areas such as ecological transition, territorial inequalities, sustainable commerce, and culture for all.

Additionally, the Groupe SOS plays a leading role in job integration, offering opportunities to people in precarious situations by enabling them to secure contracts or training within its structures.

With 22,000 employees and extensive field expertise, the Groupe SOS regularly takes a stand on social and environmental issues. There are currently no comparable associations in terms of size, scope, and diversity of action.

22,000 employees, 2 million beneficiaries, 750 establishments, associations, and social enterprises across 50 countries.
