The topography of the Citadelle de Marseille, on a rocky spur overlooking the Vieux-Port, and its restoration according to the rules related to its classification as a Historic Monument, unfortunately make the site very difficult to access for wheelchairs and strollers (very steep slopes and cobbled pavement).
