Innovation district
The Citadelle de Marseille is working to become a national landmark and a key player in the development of the Cultural and Creative Industries sector in the region, with a focus on bridging Heritage and Digital and Immersive Arts.
This axis is materialized by the creation of a hybrid space at the heart of the Citadelle: a "place within the place," located in the Villeroy district housing a former 19th-century powder magazine that is gradually transforming into an Innovation District.
The space is dedicated to companies working in technologies applied to the conservation and valorization of heritage, as well as digital and immersive arts.
The offerings of the innovation district include equipped premises, shared resources, collaborative dynamics, and support services.
