The fort Saint-Nicolas
On the south bank of the entrance to the Vieux-Port, the fort Saint-Nicolas overlooks the city opposite the fort Saint-Jean.
Its history is closely linked to that of Marseille, spanning almost 4 centuries of significant events, reflecting the city's political, military and social developments.
