PROGRAM

17h30

Le sel de la terre-Bass
Choreography by dancers from the Lycée Saint-Charles

"La Cité radieuse" illustrates the theories of the architect Le Corbusier, who sought to harmoniously combine individual and collective life. The essential components of this architecture are the foundation of a new artistic movement known as "Brutalism".

The principles of the "Modulor" and "Critical Regionalism", which take into account Marseille's constituent elements with the sea and the land, are concepts that strive to give 20th century modern architecture a guarantee of preserving local cultural elements while giving meaning to life.

The gestural resonance of these constituent elements of the work ties the city to its core and writes the artistic power at the heart of the choreographic creation, Le sel de la terre-Bass.
