☀ The tour takes place mainly outdoors, and the site is quite steep. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and make sure to protect yourself from the sun.

Accessibility

Due to the topography of the Citadel of Marseille, situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the Old Port, and the constraints of its restoration as a listed Historic Monument, the site is unfortunately very difficult to access for wheelchair users and strollers (very steep slopes and slippery ground surfaces).
